Remote Year is looking for an Ambassador Coordinator

We are looking for a hungry, go-getter that is looking for the opportunity to help build a world-class Ambassador Program at Remote Year. This role will be pivotal in recruiting, training and onboarding amazing Ambassadors from around the world. They will also manage strategic projects that are tied to the growth of the program.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring and training of future Ambassadors
  • Help conduct interviews
  • Manage onboarding
  • Host Kickoff Calls
  • Run training programs and classes
  • Work with Ambassadors on drafting event plans
  • Answer questions during onboarding process
  • Give access to tools during/after onboarding process (Academy, Slack, Facebook Group, Marketing Folder)
  • Manage an active roster of new Ambassadors. Make recommendations for improvements to tools and processes
  • Generate weekly status reports
  • Make strategic recommendations for Ambassador Program growth
  • Share appropriate content for Ambassadors through social media channels
  • Manage marketing content and collateral database for Ambassadors
  • Research events for Ambassadors to attend in markets
  • Assist Ambassadors in the planning and promotion of local marketing events
  • Identify key location partnerships in market
  • Coordinate with local team and manage event plan
  • Drive event marketing initiatives
Other duties as assigned in support of the Remote Year team

  • Passion for travel – role will require physical presence on a Remote Year program (contingent on performance)
  • Ownership – we don’t like micromanaging; we expect dedication and ownership
  • Organization skills – great time management skills, ability to multitask
  • Interpersonal skills – this role is responsible for quickly conveying the Remote Year brand and experience to potential Remotes
